Hello, once again... straight aces, may I say... three straight tutorials, and I'm hoping to recieve good feedbacks from you. The Navigation Links are ahead for saving time, because it allows you to go to a certain area of the site, whether the blog section or whatever. To start the tutorial, we would want to know: What was a Navigation Link?

Well, navigation links are the part of the site which comes in handy to save time, and go easily to a certain portion of a site. Today, in this tutorial, we'll discuss all about navigation links (as the title implies).

Okay, let's start! To start, we'll talk about the code of the navlinks (Navigation Links). The code for the navlinks in most themes are:

Okay, I'll try to explain the code for you. The code was just an exerpt of my theme: "The Golden Heart of Kyubii", go check it out in this group. Okay, now you can change the position of the navlinks from horizontal to vertical (but that's a bit advance, so we'll go for easier to understand topics).

As I've said, you can play with your navlinks, such as changing the fonts (consider the readable fonts in multiply), the color, and the text decorations. See my navigation link below:

TUTORIAL: Step-by-Step guide in making a theme

A lot of people dreams of their very own original theme. Creating your theme may look complicated, but by following some simple steps, it can be as simplified as possible. In this tutorial, you'll see some basic logical facts about making your own theme. PLEASE DON'T EDIT THEMES THAT'S NOT YOURS!

First on the list is to pick your base theme. For me, the most easiest to edit and simplest base theme, is SHADOWBOX. You can get the codes of the base themes by visiting this link. http://multiply.com/style/custom/THEME_NAME

Okay, this tutorial, if detailed, will be forever, as a result, I'll have further parts of the tutorial, and this is the first. Anyways, once you have picked the base theme you desired, design some parts of your theme, and edit the css. Below is a basic structure of the base theme SHADOWBOX.

Ahoy! Blog readers, Subscribers and Online Buddies. One phrase: "Thank you for staying in touch with this blog as well as the channel". To get more updated, I'm here to share you a video I just created today. Somehow, my created video utilizes and centers on the Special Features in MyUniversalWorld™ throughout the year.

What is MyUniversalWorld™ Special Featured stars?

Our special features refers to a celebrity, band, music icon or anyone who was chosen by MyUniversalWorld™ to refer as the model of the channel. Therefore, the channel will upload videos all about the special feature throughout a certain time. Also, MyUniversalWorld™ Special Features are changed each month, for the beginning of the year, January, we chose the Camp Rock lead star singing sensation Demi Lovato to be the first on the list of our Special monthly featured stars. (see article: "This is real This is Demi!")

Well, few words later, we will show you a video... that centers in the plans and future featured stars of MyUniversalWorld™. For the mean time, we'll talk about it first, then proceed to the video.

January 2009 - Rock, rock, and rock out loud! As the new generation's most rocking diva/sweetest gal in the music field, Demi Lovato, rocks and headbangs our mind with her expressive and one of a kind music. Response to this, MyUniversalWorld™ have posted a variety of Demi Lovato videos, which is available in our channel!

February 2009 - Even cupid's heart will fall apart and greatness will set in bloom as the charming prince of music, David Archuleta, satisfies our day by hearing his soothing voice. Valentine's day will never be the same when you're soothed by his greatful music. Furthermore, all of these videos will be available, by the February the 1st!

March 2009 - "Summer's finally here, good to be chilling out!", said Troy! Indeed! 'Coz unlike school, music tripping won't come to an end! Summer's heat will be more upraised as we give you burning songs from the movie series of the smash hit of Disney, High School Musicals 1 to 3.

April 2009 - Continue the heat with the most rocking movie yet, Camp Rock. "Raise your hands up! In the air and scream!". Watch scenes, listen to their songs and so much more. Please wait as April comes by... T.Y.

May 2009 - Before school's starts to fall again, let's resume the music and rocking! Finally, the addicting and fascinating trio, oozing with passionate heat, and the most rocking boy band today, Jonas Brothers, will touch hearts and whiser cool distant music.

Annotations - YouTubers' bestfriend

Tired of the old-fashioned videos, wanted to add more classy taste in your videos without editting it? No need to worry, because I caught something from YouTube, that one must befriend... presenting... YouTube Annotations.

I guess you YouTubers who has frequently watched lots of videos have encountered and watched videos with some-sort of a techy message popping out from the video. That's called the annotations. Morover, this annotations feature is easy to use for it is one of the newest and coolest feature of YouTube.

With this feature, you can do a lot of things including writing messages, applying lyrics and giving credits. Somehow, I can compare the annotations to Windows Movie Maker's 'title and credits' feature. As for both uses, they are somehow same. Although, Youtube annotatios can only use one font as: Arial, and has four different styles of annotations, shown to the right:

The first on the list is the "Speech Bubble" annotations... to make it more clear, please refer to the list below:

Speech Bubble - This is the annotation, wherein you can use to create some notes. Unlike the "note" annotation, this annotation has a rounded-rectangular shape and a painted shape that can be adjusted to point it wherever you wanted. This is often use to post some of personal toughts and such things.
Note - Way back, I said that there's the existance of this annotation. Well sure it does, as it is the most frequently used annotations. Morover, this is widely used in applying lyrics most especially to music videos. There's a video series I just posted along our channel, Demi's Album, I used annotations for the lyrics on the video series for this lesson.
Spotlight - There's spotlight on the spot! This is used to put on to some person, some sort of things to identify or to link to the spotlighted object.
Pause - In my personal experience, I don't really use this kind of annotation, besides, it's not clear to me what's this for at all.

Done! And you're ready to learn, as for the first step, please follow the instructions I made below:

First, please log on your YouTube account and find the video you want to edit. Furthermore, you can view your videos in either visiting your channel, by clicking the link of your channel name or the "My videos" link.

Once you've settled and have found the desired video, click on the "Edit" rollover button on the description box of the video beside the "iSight" button. Clicking this will link you to the edit page, so then, look for the Annotations link in the upper rail between the edit menu.

Then, choose the type of annotations you desire to put in to your video, (please refer to the types of annotatons, discussed above) by clicking it. When "Speech Bubble", "note", "Spotlight" anottations are used, please enter the desired text. and adjust the timespan. the timespan refers to the amount of time wherein the annotation's presence will be in from the desired start up to end.

Lastly, once you are settled and is satisfied in the editted the video, click on the "Publish" button. Notice the button to the right of the "Publish" one, oftentimes, you'll need to click on this button first before to publish.

And... viola... the new video, unlike the video before was now more enormous and as glamorous as the contents of the video! Thanks to youTube and the will of ours to create this tutorial. After this, I would like to give you the chance to watch a video full of annotations. Be an observant! Observe, how annotations are placed to master this kind of feature.

January issue feature - Demi Lovato!

This is real, This is Demi!

Camp Rock lead star singing sensation, Demi Lovato was formally announced and was chosen to be MyUniversalWorld™ feature for the whole month of January. Moreover, MyUniversalWorld™ is looking foreward uloading Demi Lovato videos. Please note that all of these videos may include songs that may be sung or performed by Demi. In addition, MyUniversalWorld™ doesn't and will never post malicious videos most especially to respect our feature and the whole channel of itself.

Another Tid-Bit!!! We posted songs sung by Demi in her album: "Don't Forget", which include tracks as "On the Line" featuring Jonas Brothers. "Don't Forget" as the carrier single of the album and made the album gross money and let it get in to the Billboard 100.

True, The album, "Don't Forget" hit the Billboard 200 and took the second spot as of it's first week as it went ahead PussycatDolls' Doll Domination, and King of Leon's Only by the night but it did not overcome Metallica's Magnetic Death's place, for Metallica's album earned the first place.

The album was composed by songs written by Demi Lovato and a little help from the fascinating phenomenon trio, Jonas Brothers. The down-to-earth singer/actress/fashion icon said that she was more of a composer. Then, with her perseverance and hardwork, the sensational album was launched by the 23rd of December, year 2008. ('Yah, I know, I know it's a bit late to post this stuff!). The album also have the song LaLa Land which has a Music Video which shows the pressures and expectations of HollyWood and how she will stay the same. Moreover, the song was also featured in the newest series of Disney Channel, "Sonny with a Chance", coming this 2009.

Also, she have written a song for her real-life bestfriend, "Two Worlds Collide" which has lyrics that goes like this: " You had your dreams I had mine..." and "when two different worlds collide... la-i-i- i-de..."

Windows Movie Maker now allows you to customize your video just the way Movies are. By using the 'titles and credits' feature (this feature is included in Windows Movie Maker - WMM), you can easily create welcome/opening message to your video and end it with credtits. With this feature, you can do same techniques the movies used.

Welcome or Opening Message

This was widely used to present the title, to give a brief description and to give a big welcome to watchers. By applying this kind of title, you can beautifully introduce your video to your audience. The picture below, from our video, 'Demi Lovato - Get Back', was the opening sequence of itself.

Credits and Special Thanks

Oftentimes (most of the times), Music Videos are copyrighted, that's why credits are wise to use. Credits are usually at the end of a video, showing the copyright owners, who was in the movie etc. Using this kind of credits, it will provide a blank background and comprise many lines. The example below is now from our video, "Camp Rock Specials - "Solo, So-Low" scene (english subbed) HQ"...

Beyond the inclined, long and winding roads of the music, "Just Stand Up" can be considered one of the greatest songs of this generation.

Legendary divas unite for a song especially created for this invincible era of cancer victims and survivors being convinced to be strong and stand up beyond struggles. The melody of this 'legend-to-be' song inspires, convinces and gives hope to cancer victims.

I made the video simple. Just one-image and a bit of titles in the beginning and at the end of the video. There's no need to put so much designs or what ever to make the video special, the whole song and the message makes the video itself, special.

Could someone believe that a bunch of smacking and entertaining videos are created (edited) by a 13 year old guy?! True. The author and creator of this site and MyUniversalWorld™ was considered a little man on the Philippines, yet an uploader in the web. This guy named, Ahmad has couple of things to share you.

Ahmad started as a friendster-addict, eventually, he used to learn more in the depths of the internet. Suddenly, Ahmad started to register from free web-hosting sites like Multiply, WordPress and Blogger. Ahmad was a bit confused, he actually never knew what sites suites him best. But just recently, he just got the chance to discover the magic of graphic designs and video editing/film making. First started in editing pictures over Photoshop, he used to hop (a big hop) and started to edit videos and make some.

His first, YouTube video was simple, yet, has a touch of effort. One picture, a cool distant music (by David Archuleta), and a bright lyrics made this video beautiful. Beyond this, Ahmad actually talked to himself: "How come YouTubers edited these cool videos, editing mine's a must!". So, he downloaded his first ever YouTube Video Converter from ImToo and changed to XillSoft. Then again, he did researches in the lines of video editing in WMM or Windows Movie Maker (we will have some lessons & tutorials in video editing using WMM or Windows Movie Maker for the next few days).

Now, this site was born! Being accompanied with our official YouTube Channel, this site is now the official website of mine. To learn more about me, here's some tid-bits and my profile.

Hey, you're just currently on MyUniversalWorld™ official site. Going back, we said earlier that this site is from the YouTube Channel, MyUniversalWorld™, but it seems that a lot of people were undoubtfully and insanely confused of what was really the aim and function of the YouTube Channel.

MyUniversalWorld™, first started as a channel, specializing in editting music videos and recently got the chance to change its line as a channel, rendering and uploading music videos either editted, remixed or lyriced. It seems that one sentence is not enough to explain what is MyUniversalWorld™, therefore, we'll move on further with our aims and goals.

Aims & Goals

Every YouTube channel needs to have its aims and goals which motivates the whole channel to reach higher and achieve these aims and goals. In that case, MyUniversalWorld™ happens to have some. We've painted the glory days to be of MyUniversaWorld™, our aims and goals as follows:

Upload more, exist longer! - We are motivated and consistent in uploading videos more and more and more. In this way, MyUniversalWorld™ will not only grow, but exist longer as well. Truly, our channel will do.
Bond friends, cease fights! - MyUniversalWorld™ aims not to be the biggest YouTube Channel but to let subscribers make new friends with others. With our videos, we're exclusively hoping that we could bond and cease fights of enemies to make our evryday so much bright.
Grant Requests, satisfy subscribers! - The channel takes on your request, just post a comment at any of our uploads or even in our channel, just make sure that you are subscribed to our videos,. We ignore all requests by non-subscribers. Also, keep in mind that requests are might be entertained for about 1-5 days.

Aiming high and reaching goals, we are hardly hoping that these three will barely come true. Surely, it will because we have the unraveled bonds.

Furthermore, we used to build this site to write blog posts and articles (which are not possible in YouTube). Also, we had the chance to make our channel more special.
With this article, we hope that we've clarified confused minds and rambling thoughts.

Just today, we uploaded the first part of the “Freestyle Jam of Camp Rock”. Then the day before that, we uploaded the official Music video of “This is Me”, performed and popularized by Demi Lovato. Freestyle Jam is a special Edition of the film, Camp Rock. You can watch the full movie then the hosts of the freestyle jam, Alyson Stoner & Roshon Fegan will teach you some grooves and moves along the road to rock. This part is the video rendering the basic steps of “Start the Party” and the anthem of the film, “We Rock”. Remember, that the more ideas you mix, the more creative your freestyle will be, and if you find it tough, just ride on it, mix it in your style.

Many Ways in Downloading Videos

Many Ways of Downloading Videos

There is such variety of ways as downloading videos, and many of these downloaded videos are soaked to the largest pools of video sites like YouTube, Google Video, Veoh and much more. When downloading videos from different sites may put your computer at risk, that’s why many sites offers some great features and services.

KeepVid, SaveVid, SaveTube, etc. allows you to download streaming videos from the largest pools of videos in just a bit of time. These sites has multiple similarities including the way they give you the download link, you shall copy the url of the desired video to be downloaded and paste it on the provided space or box, somewhere on the site. Oftentimes, these boxes are followed by a button that says: “download” or “get video”. Yes, this is way good rather than downloading from different sites, but I tell you something I discovered, when you finished downloading your video, there is such malfunctions as incomplete clips (when imported to Windows Movie Maker), Slow-loading, not importable in Windows Movie Maker.

But surfing and diving through the wide and deep size of the web, I have found a better way in downloading videos. Also, you’ll use the url of the desired video to be downloaded, then use the magic word: “get2pc”. Change the http://www.youtube/ part of the url, then hit in “get2pc”. Take this as an example: the following links are first the YouTube video, then the download link.

Changing that part and replacing it by “get2pc” will directly bring you to the site and the video is ready to download. One thing I really don’t know about is that the video is in unknown format but is considered as in FLV format. Therefore, when you play your video in a FLV player, it should play properly.

But the greatest above all greatest I found is downloading the “YouTube Video Converter”. I got one of the many “YouTube Video Converter” in ImToo. ImToo’s “YouTube Video converter” comes in a package of two; the YoutUbe Video Converteritself, and the FLV video Player. You need to run the said software to work.

Its style of downloading is way like LimeWire, but it needs more time for 2 things the downloading and converting. If you’re a first-timer, the first thing to do when using the converter is to click on “New” located in the upper left, then paste the copied url of the video, choose the desired format for the video, location, and the file name. This is the safest and fastest downloading way I found, but some videos do not work properly, so please choose a videoin either HQ (High Quality) or official video or music video.

MyUniversalWorld™ offers some great tutorials and hints about customizing, that’s why we considered some reasons including the “Windows Movie Maker” thing.

Keep in mind that in any way of downloading videos, the key for safe and fast download is “Mn’C”. M for Moderation, don’t download so much videos that it would corrupt your computer. And C stands for Carefulness, only download videos from sites you trust…

MyUniversalWorld™ actually come from a YouTube channel. This YouTube Channel specializes in creating mini-MVs, and concretizing official Music Videos in putting such things as lyrics, credits and titles. Step-by-step, together, we will walk on further with our Video editting, creating and making tutorials. From the easiest up to the most complicated thing about video making.

This site is for newbies (like me). But I think we have the softwares, PCs, consistence, and confidence to work this out. Don't expect much advanced tutorials from me, I don't have thatmuch huge and formal experiences in video remixing. I'm just a guy who wants to have fun by surfing the net. With our combined forces, theres no doubt, no need of anticipations, because sure it come!
